The film rights of The High Nest are sold to Man Up, the company of the actrices Halina Reijn and Carice van Houten. You can read here more about their company. The High Nest became a huge bestseller in Holland and won the the Opzij Literature Prize, the Dutch equivalent of the Women’s Prize for Fiction. 

The High Nest is a compelling story the persecution of the Jews in the Netherlands, based on the life of Janny and Lien Brilleslijper, two courageous Jewish sisters in the resistance, letting many Jews go into hiding in the house The High Nest, and who took care of the sisters Anne and Margot Frank in their final days.
